Individual attention

–Who you are– your needs, your learning pace, your interests, keeping you in a good mood AND keeping your safe are vital to us. Consequently we adjust the lesson format to exactly what YOU are looking for. We aim to give you outstanding one-on-one attention.

Privacy is a luxury

We do not mix our students together. All the activities we offer are very personal and we share plenty time together. We will not make you spend it with someone you do not know who might be slower or faster than you. If you chose to share the experience with someone it will be someone YOU know and trust; friends, family or loved ones.

Expert teachers

We are experienced professional teachers, not just instructors. Our teaching technique is centered on how our student learns, and everyone learns differently! You might thrive on technical explanations, a more hands-on experience, or visualization exercises. Perhaps practical or theoretical examples are your to go skills. You might want all these elements combined, We adjust to how YOU WANT AND ENJOY learning.

Safety

Your safety is primordial. Sisal is an unspoiled location and you will probably be the only kiter in the water, therefore safety is extraordinarily relevant. Local regulations forbid recreational motor vehicles. Coastguard rescue is not available immediately. Thus, we are lifeguard trained and first aid responders. We know of all obstacles and we will give you clear instructions to stay safe.

Tampoco vamos a forzarte a compartirlo con alguien que no conoces; puede avanzar más lento o más rápido que tú. Si decides compartir la experiencia será con alguien que TÚ conoces y confías; amigos, familia o quienes más quieres.

Somos maestros profesionales y con experiencia, no solo instructores. Nuestra técnica de enseñanza está centrada en cómo aprende el alumno y todos aprendemos diferente. Tal vez disfrutes de explicaciones técnicas, experiencia kinética o ejercicios de visualización. Igual y aprecias ejemplos teóricos o prácticos. Tal vez quieres combinar todos esos elementos. Nosotros nos ajustamos a cómo TÚ QUIERES Y DISFRUTAS aprender.

Seguridad

Tu seguridad es primordial. Sisal es una locación bastante virgen y muy probablemente serás el único kiter en los alrededores = la seguridad es extraordinariamente relevante. Regulaciones locales prohíben el uso de vehículos motorizados en la playa y en las costas. La guardia costera no está disponible inmediatamente. Somos salvavidas y respondientes de primeros auxilios con entrenamiento y experiencia. Conocemos los obstáculos y te daremos instrucciones claras para que estés a salvo.

Our teaching technique will get you involved in the decision making process. We believe this way you will become responsible of your learning progress and recognizing your own individual skills. Our objective is to train independent kiters. Being INDEPENDENT means that you are safe for yourself and others in whichever windy waters you want to navigate. Our target is set so you can practice on your own this wonderful and exciting sport!

Nuestra técnica de enseñanza te involucra en la toma de decisiones. Creemos que así empiezas a responzabilizarte de tu progreso y a reconocer tus propias habilidades. Nuestro objetivo es entrenar kiters independientes. Ser INDEPENDIENTE significa que eres seguro para ti mismo y los demás en cualquier spot. Queremos que puedas practicar este deporte tan maravilloso y emocionante por tu cuenta.

We want to be your friends! Seriously, our kite school is located in Marion’s house. We will welcome you and make you feel at home. Sisal is still a small town and doesn’t require a separate school spot.

A liability release format is to be signed before performing any activity to have full understanding that Kiteboarding is an extreme sport and therefore there are dangers involved. We also offer little theory tests to reinforce the learning process.

Firmarás un deslinde de responsabilidades legales antes de cualquier actividad, siendo conscientes que el Kiteboarding es un deporte extremo y por lo tanto hay riesgos involucrados. También ofrecemos un pequeño test teórico para reafirmar el aprendizaje.

Lessons are given in the school’s chosen spot, to go teach at your location we ask for a $400 MXN pesos travels fee for every day of travel.

Las lecciones se dan en el spot elegido por la escuela, para ir a tu ubicación pedimos $400 pesos MXN como viáticos por día de viaje.

We recommend two hour lessons, less than that is not enough to improve on your skills, more than that tends to be a bit too much. If the weather allows it we can take a short break and continue afterwards. The pause also lets you sink in all the new information!

Recomendamos lecciones de dos horas, menos tiempo no es suficiente para mejorar las habilidades y más tiempo puede ser forzado. Si el clima lo permite, podemos tomar una pausa y seguir después. Esa pausa también ayuda a asimilar toda la nueva información.

As much as we would love for the wind to be perfect (believe us, we do this for a living), we cannot promise it to be. Forecasts are pretty good these days, but still, it is looking into the future and that is not a precise science, yet!

You might not need ”X” hours to become independent.

Being an independent rider means that you can practice on your own. Either the water start or any other more advanced techniques. It means that you know how to do all the safety maneuvers and that you can make safe oriented decisions, for yourself and towards others. You might already be navigating, but not necessarily meaning you are independent.
