There’s only one road to get to Sisal. It comes from the neighbouring town Hunucmá. Once at the beach, we have several kilometers of coastline we can explore. To the East, LA BOCANA – CARBONERA is where the Ciénega connects to the ocean, around 18 km from Sisal downtown. La Bocana – Carbonera can only be accessed through the water, either from the Ciénaga or the ocean. A kite trip to enjoy this astounding view is something you cannot miss!

Meeting point is at Sisal’s PUERTO DE ABRIGO (Fisherman’s Port). Let’s move the gear into la lancha. Now we start the journey towards La Bocana – Carbonera, which is about an hour ride on the boat. We will anchor there and get ready to kite this

breathtaking – paradisaical – virgin – unspoiled – fabulous – estuary

Fancy some ceviche? We got you covered. Thirsty? We brought hydration as well. Short break after lunch we begin the 18 kilometers downwind back to town. We´ll finish at the beach club where we can shower and get comfy at the end of our journey together. The tour all around will take us up to 4 ^_1/2 hours.

Punto de encuentro es en el PUERTO DE ABRIGO de Sisal. En la lancha empezamos el recorrido a La Bocana – Carbonera, está como a una hora. Nos anclamos ahí para kitear. Cevichito? Trajimos. Sed? También trajimos hidratación. Un picnic y comenzamos el downwind de 18 km hasta el pueblo. Terminamos en el beach club donde nos podemos bañar y ponernos cómodos al fin del recorrido. El tour completo tarda alrededor de 4 horas y media.

We also organize shorter downwinders where we adjust logistics in terms of distance, skills, time of day, available vehicles (in these cases without a boat) and the precise places we want to navigate.
